Rogers, Carol "Mama O" Vocals
Carol “Mama O” Rogers’ credits include working with “Best World Recording” Grammy-winner Sergio Mendes, and performing in songs used in motion pictures such as Antitrust (starring Ryan Phillippe) and Bossa Nova (starring Amy Irving), and network TV’s “2001 Teen Choice Awards.” In the realm of educational materials, Carol appears on the software “Walla’s World,” as well as in a WB instructional video Blues Vocals. As a live performer, Carol has toured various countries with Sergio Mendes while also appearing regularly with her own group Mama O. As a vocal coach, Carol has worked with Brazilian sensation Sandy & Junior. At MI, Carol teaches Intro to Voice, Blues Vocals, Vocal Performance, Private Lessons and various Live Performance Workshops.
