Kether Gullu-Badat has worked in the music and new media industries for over fifteen years, currently as co-owner and co-president of Latchkey Recordings, an independent music company and record label with North American distribution via Koch Entertainment. Latchkey works with a variety of eclectic artists and companies such as Rev Run and MTV’s Run’s House, Kool G Rap, Luscious Jackson co-founder Gabby Glaser and ¡MAYDAY!. Kether has worn many hats through the years such as A&R Director for SouthBeat Records/Warner; music producer for companies such as MTV, Eidos Games, Ichiban Records, Damon Dash Films, Diplomat Records and more. He has worked as a music journalist, writing for publications and websites including Scratch Magazine, WaxPoetics, URB and MTV.com, and as an Internet designer/developer creating sites for companies such as Hermes, Shop NBC, Barclays Bank and many more.
