Jude Gold

Gold, Jude
Guitar

Sharing the hip tips and inspiring techniques he gleans from the endless stream of guitar heroes he interviews for Guitar Player magazine—which, so far, has included everyone from Slash, Joe Perry, Zakk Wylde, and Alexi Laiho to John Mayer, Pat Metheny, Brad Paisley, and Larry Carlton—GIT Director Jude Gold teaches from that exciting place where slap/pop funk, angular jazz, hard rock (the Van Halen style is one of Jude’s specialties), and snarly blues overlap. Jude’s performance and recording credits span BX3 (featuring Billy Sheehan, Stuart Hamm, and Jeff Berlin) and world-renowned DJ Miguel Migs to JGB (formerly the Jerry Garcia Band) and the Oakland Symphony. At MI, aside from his duties as Department Head Jude teaches Open Counseling and Private Lessons. Learn more by visiting www.judegold.com.
