Elliott, Joe Guitar
Joe Elliott started playing at 13 and was performing gigs by the age of 15. He studied with Nashville guitarist Jimmy Bird and toured the U.S. and Canada non-stop from 1980-1985 with his own band. Joe moved to L.A. in 1985 to attend GIT, where he was voted Outstanding Student. He has appeared in many network and local T.V. productions along with numerous recording sessions and club dates in the L.A. area. In 1999, Joe released his first solo CD entitled Joe's Place. He has performed clinics around the U.S. authored and co-authored books for MI Press (Hal Leonard Publishing) and is currently working with his own original instrumental group and with the band, Mama O. Joe's specialties as a player include jazz, fusion, R&B, funk.
