Sammy has toured and recorded with multiple artists, including most recently The Apex Theory.  After graduating with honors from PIT in 1995, he toured with Ricky Lee Jones on the H.O.R.D.E. Festival and a variety of other artists. With The Apex Theory, Sammy has performed at the Ozz Festival, Warped Tour, Snow Core and many others, both in the US and internationally.  Sammy's teaching specialties include rock, jazz, drum-n-bass, jungle, fusion, reggae, metal, pop and funk influences with heavy emphasis on odd meter groove and stylistic feel.  Sammy's outlook towards the drums is passionate and honest, summed up by the statement, "We were born students and will die students."
