Elaine Faye (Independent Artist '10) has signed with music licensing firm Hype Music. A joint venture of MTV Networks and Extreme Music, Sony/ATV’s production music library, Hype Music is headed by former KCRW Music Director Nic Harcourt, who helped launch the careers of such artists as KT Tunstall, Sigur Ros, Damien Rice, Death Cab for Cutie, and Interpol. The Hype Music roster also includes rising stars The Midi Mafia and Locksley, among others.
