BD Lenz Releases New CD

B.D. Lenz (Guitar) checks in with this news: “I've been leading my own contemporary jazz band for ten years and this fall I'll be releasing my sixth CD, Hit It and Quit (www.apriarecords.com). It's got Will Lee & Joel Rosenblatt on it! My last CD did really well on national radio and this should new release should do even better. My band is performing internationally, my music has been on over 60 television shows internationally, and I'm endorsed by Godin guitars.

Oz will also conduct a day of intimate Open Counseling on Tuesday, Feb. 10^th in a rare dual session with MI’s very own Scott Henderson. Aside from his work with artists like Chris Botti, Richard Bona, Mike Clark, Toni Braxton, Phoebe Snow, and Gavin DeGraw, guitar phenomenon Noy is known for creating some of the most creative and unpredictable music in contemporary jazz.

Considered one of hottest young masters of jazz guitar on the international scene today, the Swedish native will display his exceptional bebop chops, “Hot-Club” Gypsy melodies, genre-hopping technical facility and powerful chord-melody solos. Andreas has released four solo albums and performed with artists including Les Paul, Toots Thielemans, Bireli Lagrene, Larry Coryell, Barbara Hendricks, John Pisano, Martin Taylor, Stuart Hamm, Danny Gottlieb, Jimmy Rosenberg, Frank Vignola, Bucky Pizzarelli, Howard Alden, Ulf Wakenius, Joey DeFrancesco, Mark Murphy, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Florin Nicolescu and more.
