Shruti Hasaan Set for Film Debut

Shruti Hasaan (Voice) is set to make her Bollywood acting debut opposite heartthrob Imran Khan in the upcoming film release Luck while also maintaining her music career as lead vocalist for the Extramentals. In “Doing it Her Way,” a recent Times of India online profile, reporter Tarunya Suresh noted, “Hailing from the prestigious Musicians Institute in Hollywood, [Shruti] says that the school is a haven for budding musicians and will remain one of her most cherished experiences [to] date.”

Considered one of hottest young masters of jazz guitar on the international scene today, the Swedish native will display his exceptional bebop chops, “Hot-Club” Gypsy melodies, genre-hopping technical facility and powerful chord-melody solos. Andreas has released four solo albums and performed with artists including Les Paul, Toots Thielemans, Bireli Lagrene, Larry Coryell, Barbara Hendricks, John Pisano, Martin Taylor, Stuart Hamm, Danny Gottlieb, Jimmy Rosenberg, Frank Vignola, Bucky Pizzarelli, Howard Alden, Ulf Wakenius, Joey DeFrancesco, Mark Murphy, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Florin Nicolescu and more.
