Alessandro Cortini Featured in Electronic Musician Magazine

Alessandro Cortini (Guitar, Recording Artist) is featured on the cover along with an extensive interview in the August 2008 issue of Electronic Musician magazine.

After completing his studies at MI, Alessandro was teaching in the Recording Artist program while producing recordings for his group Modwheelmood when he was invited to audition for Nine Inch Nails. Since joining NIN, he has toured the world and collaborated on the albums Ghosts I-IV and The Slip while also working with Ladytron (Velocifero), Yoav (Charmed & Strange) and scores for the upcoming films Righteous Kill and Tropic Thunder. For Modwheelmood’s most recent EP release (Pearls to Pigs), Alessandro tracked drums at MI with engineer and Recording Artist program director Greg Panciera.

Considered one of hottest young masters of jazz guitar on the international scene today, the Swedish native will display his exceptional bebop chops, “Hot-Club” Gypsy melodies, genre-hopping technical facility and powerful chord-melody solos.
