Jens Anderson, Purity Release Debut CD

Jens Andersen (Guitar, Audio Engineering) and his band Purity have released their debut CD, The Rise of the Fallen (EVO Records). The band was named the Featured Artist for spring 2007 by Project Independent, an online nationwide metal band showcase. Purity received more than 179,000 votes for their song "Her Deadly Kiss" during the contest, which featured 18 metal/hardcore bands from across the US. Plans are underway to record a follow-up CD and tour the US.

His proficiency and specialization in several styles coupled with his professional transcribing skills have influenced literally thousands of students.
