Musicians Institute provides innovative education for aspiring performers and industry professionals in the field of contemporary music.
Goals
MI's programs prepare students for careers in contemporary music performance (bass, guitar, keyboards, percussion, and voice) and music industry career specialties (audio engineering, songwriting/music production, guitar-making, music business, and music video/film production). MI provides comprehensive educational resources that support and inspire creative and professional accomplishment.
Size and Scope
MI's average annual enrollment in all programs combined is approximately 1100 students, with approximately 170 faculty members including full- and part-time instructors in all programs and levels.
Accreditation
Musicians Institute is accredited as a member institution by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). MI is also approved by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Vocational Education (BPPVE) of the State of California.
