Lisa Harriton, who early in 2007 made her debut as touring keyboardist and backing vocalist with the re-formed Smashing Pumpkins, has joined the keyboard faculty at MI.

On Tuesday, July 15 from 1-5pm, Blue Man Group will be holding auditions at Musicians Institute exclusively for MI students and grads. Are you a Blue Man? On Thursday, July 31, GIT welcomes blues-rock guitar virtuoso, vocalist and songwriter Joe Bonamassa for an inspirational afternoon clinic.  Bonamassa was recently named Best Blues Guitarist of 2008 by Guitar Player Magazine’s readership, his second consecutive year to win that award.
