Mike holds a BA Degree in Studio/Jazz Guitar from USC and has composed and played guitar on a wide range of commercial, TV and film projects for clients including Nokia, Home Depot, Adidas, MTV’s Rock the Vote, Whale Rider, Mattel, Starship Troopers, NASCAR IMAX, Kingdom of Heaven, Alien vs. Predator, Gillette, Progressive Insurance, Sufi virtuoso Omar Faruk Tekbilek, violinist Lili Haydn, producers David Kershenbaum, Greg Ladanyi, Eric Colvin, and songwriter Adam Cohen. At GIT, Mike specializes in private instruction and open counseling.

His proficiency and specialization in several styles coupled with his professional transcribing skills have influenced literally thousands of students. Considered one of hottest young masters of jazz guitar on the international scene today, Andreas will display his exceptional bebop chops, “Hot-Club” Gypsy melodies, genre-hopping technical facility and powerful chord-melody solos.
